Frustrated with trying to find an "almost 90 degree"  screwdriver to fine adjust your fuel screws for best idle and cruise?
Use Factory Pro's new "finger adjustable" fuel screws to adjust fuel screws for best throttle response. Traveling to high altitude? It's easy to lean out the lowend temporarily.

Make your life easier!

Installation:
Remove old short stock fuel screws, old o-rings, old washers and old spring. The o-ring might be stuck in the carb, so, take a light and make sure it's really out if it didn't come out with the screw (or you can't find it after you took out the screw)
Use a small bent wire to pull it out if it doesn't drop out. Keep the old parts for "spares".

Each screw assembly comes with:
4 Long Boy fuel screws 
 4 new o-rings
4 new washers
4 new springs

Factory Pro manufactures replacement needle jets (called emulsion tubes by some) for **36mm carbs** to original factory specs. The needle jet orifice wears oblong in as little as 5,000 miles and is particularly aggravated by "in town", low rpm operation. The result is excessive richness at low rpm that can be partially compensated for by lowering the fuel level. Inspect and replace when required.
A direct replacement for worn, original items. Accepts standard Mikuni main jets and our Factory Pro Carb Recal Kits. Also fits Triumph, Bandit 1200 and others with 0-8 (and stock O-6 1100g) needle jets.

This simple, bolt-on advance kit advances the timing. With stock engines with stock compression ratios, there is more power everywhere. Part throttle power is better - helping corner exit speeds. Improved in-town drivability and quicker warm-up.

More lowend and midrange.

Installation:
30 minutes.
Remove small, hand sized, right side engine cover.
Unbolt mounting screw from stock rotor.
Install new rotor.
Reinstall mounting screw.
Replace gasket and cover.

Make shifting much quicker and virtually eliminate missed shifts. Especially the 1-2 shift.

This kit will help prevent gear and fork damage caused by missed shifts - it will NOT fix a gearbox with rounded dogs and bent shift forks.

The G is an interesting bike - The crankcases are similar to the later water cooled gsxr600/750 and 1100's and the topend is similar to the older, air cooled 1100's.

The G model has a 50mm socket holding the clutch basket on and I'd suggest that it is required to use a 1/2" air impact wrench to remove -

If the GSX1100g experiences excessive low-end richness that cannot be compensated for by lowering the fuel level by setting the floats any greater than 16.5mm, the needle jets (the needle hole in the top of the emulsion tube) is probably worn excessively and must be replaced to lean the low-end. The extension of the laboratory for engines of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935. Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in normal use but well preserved.
