For when you KEEP the airbox and run a stock or stock replacement air filter. |
Config 10 jet kit All of our carb kits come with a selection of jets to allow for perfect tuning and AND special needles that were designed to run with larger pilots. They weren't designed with the goal of "getting away with only" jetting. The "800" and "900" Triumphs are wonderful,
modern renditions of the early "unit" and "pre-unit" "Bonnies" and "America's"
- were always known as the best handling bikes in the 50's, 60's and
70's. Best (only?) "drop-in" kit available. Nice even power improvement. Not really fussy about main jet selection (other than the bike loses 1 hp on either side of the perfect, best main jet). Needle height is pretty cut and dried, with little fiddling required, from what we've seen and heard. Nice kit and easy to install - a genuine pleasure to work on a bike that was easy to tune! As usual, boosts power a bit at full throttle, improves throttle response and wheelie ability. Definitely pulls harder out of 2nd and 3rd gear corners. Gets rid of that pesky flat spot at low rpm, when properly setup. |

Oh my, oh my! Config 30 jet kit Nice kit and easy to install - a genuine pleasure to work on a bike that was easy to tune! As usual, removing the airbox boosts power at full throttle, and the jet kit improves throttle response and wheelie ability. Definitely pulls harder out of corners. Gets rid of that pesky flat spot at low rpm, when properly setup. |

Shift Improvement kit | |||
Triumph 900 Twins, fits most carbed models Annoyed by lazy shifting? Tired of missing 2nd?
Virtually eliminate
missed shifts Easier and quicker upshifts, decreased shift lever travel, fewer missed shifts and quicker downshifts.
This is the kit that makes the
difference. .......................................... In 1-2 hours, you can make your shift mechanism work 10% to 20% quicker (5ms to 10ms) and miss fewer quick or lay shifts. When you look
at quickshifter "kill" duration
at 55ms, every upshift you are
losing about 1/20th a second. Do
20 upshifts and you lose 1 full
second of applied power. 100
upshifts and that's 5 seconds
that power is "killed" while the
QS is waiting for the shift to
complete. (Ever thought about
that? :-) I can't guarantee that you'll drop your lap times by 1/2 sec per 100 upshifts - but - wouldn't it be mentally less effort and cool to make missed upshifts and downshifts virtually disappear?
Note about quickshifter
shift kill time:
Installation: Available from Power Tripp and direct from Factory Pro.

The extension of the laboratory for engines of the
Swiss Federal Institute of Technology was completed in about 1935.
Its architect was Rudolf Otto Salvisberg (1882-1940). He had a
successful career in Berlin but returned to Switzerland after the
advent of the Nazis. His architectural style was somewhat similar to
that of Erich Mendelsohn. The staircase of the laboratory is in
normal use but well preserved. Edited to the tunes of Chemical Residue by Herbie Hancock. |
