AMA Mid Ohio 2008
Fantastic rider + Great team + Winning Attitude +
EC997 Dyne Systems = Winning Results Aaron Yates Podiums in 7th Straight AMA Superstock Race Lexington, OH (August 4, 2008) - Michael Jordan Motor Sports Suzuki’s Aaron Yates won Sunday’s AMA Superstock race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. This is Yates third win for the Jordan Suzuki team and his seventh consecutive Superstock podium finish in the class. Yates, who qualified for the pole position for the 16-lap event, got off to a good start, quickly grabbing the hole-shot on his Suzuki GSX-R1000. Yates put his head down and held the lead until lap 14 when he was briefly passed by the Suzuki ridden by Blake Young. Yates was able to get by his competitor on lap 15, where he remained and crossed the checkered flag with a 0.931 second margin of victory. Yates was awarded an additional point each for the pole position and for leading the most laps, in addition to 36 points for the race. He is currently leading the overall AMA Superstock points standings by 31 points.

Hmm...... Well, the mythical Teka 4usb
is a couple months away from retail release to selected Factory Pro
Tuning Centers and thanks to Tony, Charles, Tom, Jon and Raul for trying
to break it 50 ways and back. It's a solid piece and the new connectors
are pretty sweet looking and have some nifty features, including waterproofing
and proper assembly. Tested on 600rr's, gsxr's, zx6r's and zx10's, R6's
and R1's, Raptors - even works on the Aprilia's, Ducati's and BMW 1200's
without "issues". Teka SFI: In the Dyno arena, our long awaited high
speed USB Load Controller (aka "black box") is about ready to replace our
trusty serial port version. While we did indeed have the quickest reacting
load control dyno in the mc industry for the last 15 years ( I don't think
that anybody or dyno company would argue that), the new USB controller feels
like it's 10 times quicker to settle at any target rpm. No finicky load
"PID" loop fiddling and we have Realtime HP readout on the screen (as usual
for us). It's so far ahead of the other guys. It's far ahead of self proclaimed
"state of the art" dynos...... Why is quicker
for 14k(warning! turn down speakers!)
and accurate load control a benefit? It's the absolute solution, when coupled
with our own design and manufacture, high speed 4 gas EGA (I don't think
that anybody or dyno company can argue that we have the quickest reading,
high capacity, 4/5 gas EGA in the mc industry, either) to developing performance
products that will stand up to real world scrutiny - and - development of
national class race engines - and - super quick, super precise fuel injection
tuning AND ignition timing tuning for a high end dealership. Compare tune to "Best Power" and "Best
Engine Smoothness Technology" to kinda close "tune to an air fuel
ratio?

Factory Pro's Best Powertm
EC997 Dyne Systems helped tune most of the USA's quickest AMA
250gp bikes - including Rich Oliver's, Chuck Sorensen's and Simon Turner's
bikes. #1, #2 and #3, year after year. The EC997, unlike common dealership level dynos, provided 250 riders with dyno tuning settings that actually worked optimally on the racetrack - unlike mass marketed dealership level dynos that provided absolutely incorrect tuning settings - by as much as 5 True HP wrong. If the dyno mass marketed dyno misses by 7% hp on a 250 - how much do they miss by on a 150 hp bike? 10 hp? (the answer is actually, yes, it's not uncommon to see non-optimum HP results when tuning o an AF Ratio). How much on the HD? That metric cruiser? Can you afford to leave 5 hp on the floor and tell a customer that "it's the right af ratio", instead? |

All of the Best Powertm
EC997's feature the patented Factory Pro invented "Hi
Trac" slotted drive roller. Without
the patented Factory Pro "Hi Trac" Roller System, the current crop of high
hp liter bikes will slip in Steady State mode (regardless of
what the dealership level dyno mass marketers will tell you - I think one
dyno company calls it "the new"(??) "Torque Link" for Steady State). Old
style Knurled drive rollers slip in a Sweep Test, too - but - it's not as
obvious and smoky. |

I shopped for dynos for over 2 years. I have tuned on all of them, dynojet, Superflow , etc. The EC997 is the best one. Link it up with the true 4 gas EGA and I can tune around any O2 sensor driven map and you will feel the difference...not just in your wallet like all the rest. Bold statements but I have done it.....
Going in deep on that reply but what the hey -
I have the best dyno. Thanks
